Essence
We are shaped by the stories we live, the relationships we nurture, the places we inhabit, and the ways we learn to see.
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the invisible threads that connect them.
That curiosity has led me through neuropsychology, environmental studies, storytelling, communication and political activism. It has taken me across countries and cultures, into conversations with artists, scientists, activists, Indigenous communities, each offering another way of understanding our place within the web of life.
At first, these paths seemed unrelated.
Over time, I realised they were all teaching me the same thing: Nothing exists in isolation. The stories we tell shape the choices we make. The systems we live within shape the stories we believe.
Our relationship with ourselves influences our relationship with others, with nature, and with the futures we imagine possible.
Without knowing it, I had been learning to weave.
Today, Mountains & Manes is where those threads come together.
It is both a living exploration and a way of being in relationship—with ourselves, with horses, with stories, with landscapes, and with the futures we are quietly creating.
This is a place rooted in wonder, guided by critical thinking, and shaped by the belief that beauty and depth belong together.
Welcome.
